Our holiday flat is located on the 1st floor of a multi-party house on the beautiful Baltic Sea island of Usedom, more precisely on the Gnitz in the small village of Lütow.The island is easily accessible via two bridges and the main road leads you almost to us.Nature lovers of all ages get their money's worth on the Gnitz, as the nature reserve is a varied place with its heathland, rough pastures, steep coastline, small beaches on the Peenestrom and the highest population of sea eagles in Germany. Whether you want to explore nature or just go for a walk, with or without your four-legged friend, here you can leave everyday life behind and enjoy the peace and quiet...The property in which the flat is located is a former holiday park, which we took over three years ago and in which we have invested a lot of time and work. In the course of this we have also lovingly remodelled this flat. It offers an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower.The bedroom has a 1.60 metre box-spring bed and a spacious wardrobe. An extra bed or travel cot (available) can easily be set up.The sofa in the living area can be folded out to create two additional beds. The dining table seats four people and a high chair is available for our younger guests.The kitchen area is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven and dishwasher, as well as a filter coffee machine, toaster and kettle.There are books and games for young and old both in the flat and in the hallway....In the in-house sauna you can relax not only on cold days and do something for your health. This is available for your exclusive use by arrangement and for a fee.A washing machine can be shared by all guests for a fee.The outdoor area is shared by all guests, with plenty of seating and a barbecue available. The little ones can dig in the sand while the grown-ups enjoy a coffee in the sun, play (shuttlecock), draw with chalk or let off steam on the in-house volleyball court. There is also a football pitch on the grounds.If, despite the beauty of the nature reserve, you are drawn to the wonderful Baltic Sea beach, you can easily reach the nearest Baltic seaside resort by bike or car, as Zinnowitz is only a stone's throw away at just under 8 km. In addition to the fine sandy beach, there are numerous shopping facilities, restaurants and cafés, bike hire, a club cinema, a theatre, the Baltic Sea stage with the Vina Festival and much more. The imperial spas, Peenemünde (the cradle of space travel), Karl's adventure village in Koserow and many other excursion destinations on the island are all less than an hour's drive away.If you prefer to stay here in the hinterland and enjoy the peace and quiet, you don't have to miss out on a nice meal or a coffee in the sun, as there is a charming café, a cosy restaurant and a cute little farm shop in the neighbouring village just 2 km away, all of which are worth one or more visits.If you're feeling sporty, pay a visit to the local surf school or hop on a bike and explore the island on two wheels, as Lütow is connected to the island's well-developed cycle network.
