Our gite is located in a former Périgord farmhouse comprised of five adjoining gites. It consists of three bedrooms, a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, two shower rooms, and two toilets. You have access to garden furniture in front of the entrance, which is located in the shared courtyard of the gîtes. The gîtes' swimming pool is open from May to September and is heated. "Happiness in our Meadow" is the name of our property, situated in a very quiet, small, hilltop hamlet. Happiness is indeed in our meadow! Countryside, nature and tranquillity. We are 3kms from the village of Saint Julien de Lampon, where you can do your basic shopping or go to the local market on Thursdays. All the historic sites of the Périgord Noir are less than half an hour away, with hiking trails passing in front of the property. The medieval town of Sarlat is 16 km away (1/4 hour's drive). There are plenty of sporting activities and many gardens, museums, caves and châteaux to visit in the Périgord Noir.Peace and relaxation in our beautiful countryside. We offer our homemade products in a gourmet dinner service and they are also on sale in our on-site cellar, as well as Bergerac wine. Michèle, a qualified beauty therapist, offers cocooning weekends to recharge your batteries.
