Casa do Pomar is onderdeel van Casas da Cerca, dat samen met nog 2 andere vakantiehuizen (PT-7630-04 en PT-7630-08) op een privé-terrein van 30ha staat. Het is landelijk en rustig gelegen in de bossen van het Vincentine Coast National Park, op ca. 1,5 km van het dorpje Troviscais. In 2015 is het zelfs uitgeroepen tot beste ‘Rural Retreat’ in Portugal!
Het comfortabele vakantiehuis is een voormalige wijnkelder, geheel gerenoveerd met behoud van de oude stijl. Er is een voormalig waterreservoir op het terrein aanwezig (2 x 3 m, diep 0,9 m) dat tegenwoordig de mogelijkheid biedt om verkoeling op te zoeken. Op het terras of in de tuin kunt u heerlijke zomeravonden doorbrengen.
S. Luís ligt op ca. 8 km afstand, Odemira op 15 km en de populaire badplaats Vila Nova de Milfontes op 22 km. Costa Vicentina, met de mooiste stranden van Portugal, ligt op ca. 20 min en biedt diverse zwem- en watersportmogelijkheden. Op slechts 15 min. wandelen kunt u ook zwemmen in de rivier Mira; een van de schoonste rivieren in Europa. Verder kunt u vanuit uw vakantiehuis diverse wandel- en fietstochten maken.
Dit vakantiehuis is ideaal voor iedereen die van rust en natuur houdt.

De omgeving is prachtig, de weg naar het huis is erg uitdagend en dient vermeld te worden als reguliere zorg dit is een grote uitdaging. Het huis zelf komt niet overeen met de omschrijving. Het is een klein huisje zonder ramen. De kitchenette heeft maar één inductieplaat en het koffiezetapparaat is een perculator. De sint viel, toilet werkte niet en het zwembad was groen en niet uitnodigend. Er is geen jacuzzi. We boekten twee dagen, maar vertrokken na de eerste nacht.
Schat, het spijt me voor alles! Appartement met een aangenaam thuisklimaat, twee zeer comfortabele bedden en een comfortabel bed voor een warme nachtrust,
Het appartement was erg gezellig en goed uitgerust. We waardeerden de twee badkamers, die de ochtenden voor onze groep veel gemakkelijker maakten. De nabijheid van de waterval van Bad Gastein was een leuke toevoeging.
Een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen! Alles was schoon en netjes, en we vonden de keukenapparatuur erg modern. De gedeelde keuken was ook een leuke extra,
We really enjoyed our stay, The location is secluded and calm, which was exactly what we wanted, The pool is small but allows us to cool off in the heat, The thoughtful details like the fresh bread for breakfast, the sweets, the fresh cheese, the homemade eggs, and the oranges from the orchard, along with the kindness and hospitality of Mrs, Graça, made all the difference, The space for cooking is small but perfectly adequate for making simple meals for a couple, The property is close to the Mira River, and it's possible to take a walk to the riverbank, which we also enjoyed, I recommend bringing insect repellent, as being in the countryside, there are naturally mosquitoes, especially at the end of the day
