If you are ready to enjoy the scents of the Mediterranean climate and sea surrounded by a unique nature and gorgeous mountain landscape, our ISOLATED VILLA WITH POOL is a perfect esacape for you, your friends and family. Our hidden, cosy house is a perfect escape from crowds and busy city life and we'd like to share this little piece of heaven with you, whether you want to spend a lazy day by the pool, explore places, go hiking, to the beach down the hill and try various sea activities and food.Continuing outside from the ground level, there is a smart pool and lounge area with comfortable garden egg-shaped chairs, pool lounge chairs, deck chairs and outdoor fireplace/barbecue. If you feel like stretching, you can pick our grapes that form a nice shade in the garden during a hot summer. Wake a child inside of you and use our hammock (you can find it in the storage room where the laundry mashine is), find out if you have green fingers, check what we have in the gardens behind the house or wake an explorer inside of you and take a hike to the old village Žlib (even more up in the hills) and you will have the whole area on your palm.The house has three floors in total, each about 60 m² in size. You can enter the house directly from the street (first floor) and by using entrance stairs, which bring you to the garden area (ground floor). The ground floor comprises of following rooms: bathroom (toilet, shower); storage room with a washing machine; an open space lounge area. There you can find fully equipped romantic style kitchen (oven, washing machine, fridge, freezing compartment, toaster, kettle, microwave and other utilities), dining area (for more than 10 people) and a living room with a charming fireplace, where you can relax on a cosy sofa, watch TV (flat screen, cable TV) or play some board games that will be at your disposal. The ground floor area, connected with the outdoor pool and lounge area, is intended for relaxing, having big dinners, gatherings, while the upper two floors have a slightly different concept, with bedrooms and terrace where you can also sunbathe or just enjoy the amazing sunset view. Interior staircase connects ground floor with two upper floors. On the first floor, there is another fully equipped modern style kitchen with a table for four, balcony, stylish living room (air-conditioner, flat screen TV), bathroom (with a shower) and a first master bedroom with a king-size bed (Peach Room). The second floor (air-conditioned) comprises of a third bathroom (whirlpool bathtub), small sitting area, second master bedroom with a king-size bed and a spacious closet with sliding doors (Purple Room) and a third bedroom with a queen-size bed (Blue Room). Both rooms have direct access to the roof terrace with deck chairs and magnificent view. The whole area is air-conditioned, in case Mediterranean climate becomes a bit overwhelming for you.The house has all facilities to enjoy your deserved vacation at our home, by the pool and just relaxing. It is surrounded by gardens, olives, pine wood. The area is perfect for mountain biking and there are two Hiking trails just nearby. We recommend to get all information on the official website of the Nature Park Biokovo. Makarska riviera is not only the place to bu during summer, but also during spring and autumn. The area is popular among bike lovers, nature lovers since it is perfect for trekking, hiking, climbing if you have proper equipment and climbing shoes. At this location you can experience the nature and the offer of the whole Dalmatia county. The area of Veliko Brdo is more of a relaxing area with suburban/weekend villas, ideal for those who want to avoid summer fuss and crowd, but still spend their vacation nearby active summer city with a lot to offer. The beach is about 1000 metres away and you can try various sea activities (jet ski, water-ski, parasailing, diving, windsurfing, kayaking) or just sit and relax in one of lounge/beach bars. The town centre with its restaurants and shops is approximately 2000 metres away. We would be more than happy to give you some tips when it comes to choosing a restaurant, organising field trips and activities, visiting islands or discovering hidden gems of Makarska Riviera. One of the closest restaurants in the area (about 200 m away) offers a great choice of fish and meat. From there you can enjoy beautiful view on the whole Makarska and islands, while having a nice dinner. In the village, next to the church, you can find local restaurant Veliko Brdo, traditional tavern, where you can try traditional Dalmatian recepies (we recommend pasticada if you like meat in sauce with homemade macaroni).We want to offer you the best experience and make your vacation wonderful. As a travel savvy, I will always be at your disposal for any question regarding your stay and recommend places to visit according to your wishes! This is our city getaway house. We don't live on the property but in city Makarska (7-10 minutes away by car). Therefore, you will have your peace and comfort, and we will be at your disposal if anything needed. I'm in charge of communication and welcoming. In case I'm not available, my brother, mother or father will do that instead of me. We will welcome you at the property and provide you with keys. Knowing that the travel can be exhausting, especially during summer, we will do our best to welcome you with traditional drink (schnapps), water or fresh fruit! Also, someone will meet you before you leave and go back to your sweet homes. Holiday home can be reached easily by car. We could be able to arrange a transportation from airport to our holiday home (upon request, charged extra), but recommend renting a car (if not coming with one) in order to fully experience the area. NOTE: Due to the current pandemic, we can offer arranging fresh food delivery to the house!
