The neighboring stable offers space for mountain bikes. Small horses, ponies or other animals can be accommodated in the neighboring stable on request and at an extra charge. There is uncovered parking for one car right next to the chalet. Kitchen and living roomThe log walls and a cozy stove with a flickering fire create a healthy and relaxed atmosphere. The dining area, kitchen with fridge and cozy sofa corner are open-plan. Interior The chalet is furnished in a modern and cozy style and consists of untreated old wood as well as local spruce and larch wood. The small bathroom has a shower, toilet and bathroom sink. Technical equipmentHeating is provided by a modern wood-burning stove, which can also be used for cooking. A rechaud is also available. An instantaneous water heater provides hot water for the kitchen and shower. The electricity comes from a solar system and the water is treated rainwater. Wi-Fi and a Smart TV are available. Other informationYou can hear the motorway that runs through the middle of the Grisons Rhine Valley. It is not noise per se, but a "background noise" that can be perceived differently depending on the vegetation, wind direction, temperature and weather. The economical and careful use of water and electricity is very important and is a must, as resources are finite. An outdoor pole (Dutchtub) is available on advance booking and at an extra charge. The Maiensäss is not suitable for small children as the interior (fireplace, steep stairs etc.) is not safe for small children.
