Aan de rand van het historische dorp Holwerd ligt deze groepswoning in een boerderij uit 1850. Met 11 slaapkamers en grote recreatiezaal met eigen bar perfect geschikt voor 30 personen. De meeste slaapkamers hebben allen eigen sanitair.
Holwerd kenmerkt zich door de vele vissershuisjes en kleine steegjes en ligt in het waddengebied, temidden van veel natuurschoon en rust. Naast vele mogelijkheden om te wandelen, fietsen en boerengolfen, is deze groepsaccommodatie uitermate geschikt als uitvalsbasis voor wadlopen. Voor groepen die verblijven in deze accommodatie, kunnen wadlooptochten georganiseerd worden. Er zijn gidsen in dienst die dit doen. Vraag de Eigenaar hiernaar.
Vanuit Holwerd kun je de overtocht maken naar de Waddeneilanden. Breng ook eens een bezoek aan vestingstad Dokkum op 9 km. De historische binnenstad biedt allerlei leuke kroegjes, restaurantjes en winkeltjes.
De woning heeft aan de voorzijde een terras waar je heerlijk kunt zitten met wijds uitzicht naar de waddenzee. Voor kinderen is er een speciale speelhoek met TV. Er zijn 2 kinderbedden, 3 kinderstoelen en 1 kinderbox aanwezig.
De boerderij is ook zeer geschikt voor groepen met een verstandelijke beperking en hun verzorgers.

We had a great time at this farmhouse! The place was super cozy and really well-equipped for a big family like ours, The kids loved the playground outside, and the location was perfect for exploring the local area, Did some mudflat hiking which was a unique experience! The only thing I’d say is that it could use a bit more seating in the living room for bigger groups, But honestly, would stay again in a heartbeat
We really appreciated the comfort of this holiday home, The bedrooms were cozy, and the bathrooms were clean, The location was great for exploring the charming village of Holwerd, and we even took a fun mudflat hiking trip!
Our stay at the farmhouse in Holwerd was absolutely delightful! The space was incredibly spacious, perfectly accommodating our large family gathering, Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made morning routines a breeze, We had a fantastic time barbecuing on the terrace and exploring the nearby narrow alleys and fisherman's houses, The kids loved the play area, and we appreciated the proximity to the beach—a perfect combination for a relaxing holiday

An excellent stay! We appreciated the pet-friendly policy, and our dog loved the nearby walking paths, The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals for our large group
