150 km northeast of Kajaani, 75 km southeast of Suomussalmi, the cottage is located close to the Russian border (1.5 km) in Kuivajärvi, Finland's only inhabited Viena Karelian village. Small Kuivajärvi 20 m (lake length 1 km, width 0.5 km), connection to Kuivajärvi (length 2.3 km, width 1 km), shallow beach, rocky bottom, pier, rowing boat. Large, hand-carved log cabin, built in 1964, renovated in 2015, large living room, kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 2-3 beds in each room (rooms updated in 2023, new beds and bedding), sauna (electric stove), washroom with whirlpool bath and 2 showers , dressing room and lounge, meeting and exhibition space. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs, the sauna facilities are in the basement. The kitchen is equipped with large kitchen appliances, cheerful hot and cold serving tables for serving food. Beach sauna 40 m, steam room (wood stove), fireplace and covered porch. The sauna has a water supply (shower in the sauna), electric heating and electric light. Own boat launch and fire pit on the beach. Pirti's equipment also includes TV / DNA Hub, and wireless internet (Wi-Fi, 150Mt). Karaoke equipment, pool table, poker table, air hockey game and Air heat pump (cooling in summer). In the yard, a hot tub (the customer fills and heats it himself, additional fee for the hot tub is €200/booking period) and a fish cleaning table.
