Situated north of the town of Nordhausen, it is the ideal starting point for excursions into the Harz mountains or the southern Harz foreland, e.g. the Kyffhäuser. Distance to the station of the historic Harzquerbahn and tram approx. 10 min to the city centre of Nordhausen 3 km.An outdoor fireplace where you can barbecue, smoke and bake is available on the large terrace facing the lake. There is also seating on the terrace. Interesting circular walks in beautiful, relaxing countryside for all ages start and end directly at the holiday home. Car parking space on the property.The holiday home was extensively renovated in 2019. It is heated by a heat pump, which heats all rooms via radiators. There is also a wood-burning stove in the living room, which can be used to create a cosy warmth. The wood for this is available free of charge. The kitchen is fully equipped except for an oven. The bedroom has a new box-spring bed and a large wardrobe with sliding doors. The cosy seating combination in the living room can be converted into a double bed if required. There is also a dining table with four chairs in the living area.Please note: There is a second holiday home on the property approx. 20 metres away. The holiday homes are separated by small hedges. Other holiday guests and occasionally the owner's family can stay on the large property.
