If you would like to spend a day at the beach, we recommend driving 37 kilometres to the Baltic Sea beach of Juliusruh. A beautiful long white sandy beach awaits you there, which is the ideal destination on a warm summer's day. A few kilometres from Rattelvitz you have the opportunity to go horse riding. The centre of Gingst with its restaurants and shops is just 3 km from Rattelvitz. Here you will also find Rügen's largest leisure park, which is definitely worth a visit.The large park-like gardens surrounding the estate offer plenty of space to sunbathe and relax. Read a good book outside in the garden or simply enjoy the nature around you and let your mind wander.On warm summer days, you can have breakfast or a barbecue in the privacy of your own outdoor seating area. As there is virtually no car traffic, the whole area is very suitable for children of all ages.
