The marina is also home to The Sea Life Centre, home to all types of marine wildlife. You can take a walk around to watch the floating hotels and millionaires' yachts and at night the Puerto Marina becomes a party zone. La Paloma Park is a superb location in the centre of Benalmadena Costa. There is an impressive array of flora and fauna, plus a menagerie of animals including chickens, rabbits, goats and exotic birds. The park is beautifully landscaped with themed gardens and rocky waterfalls, which cascade down to the lake. There are two bars in the park where you can relax in the evening listening to the calls of the peacocks. Next to La Paloma Park, you can visit Selwo Marina, the sister of Selwo Adventure Park. Modelled around different locations in South America, you can see dolphins, sea lions, crocodiles, birds and exotic snakes up close. Recently, a penguin dwelling was installed giving a glimpse of Antarctica in Andalusia. There is a wide choice of golf courses in the Benalmadena area.
