Charming Holiday Home Near Lake Nedingen in Fornbo Welcome to this bright and charming holiday home in beautiful Fornbo, just south of Malmköping in the heart of Sörmland. Set on a lush and peaceful garden plot, the house is surrounded by nature and is only around 300 metres from Lake Nedingen, where you will find both a sandy beach and a jetty. It is the perfect setting for relaxing summer days filled with swimming, barbecues and quality time with family and friends. The house has a bright and welcoming interior and offers comfortable accommodation for the whole family. The main house has three bedrooms. One bedroom has a comfortable double bed, another has a single bed, while the third has a 150 cm long single bed, ideal for a child. There is also a cosy guest house on the property with bunk beds. The lower bunk is 140 cm wide and the upper bunk is 90 cm wide. There is also an additional 90 cm bed, making the guest house a practical sleeping area for children or extra guests. One of the highlights of the property is the lovely covered terrace, where you can sit back and enjoy the lush surroundings whatever the weather. It is a wonderful place for long breakfasts, relaxing coffee breaks or an evening drink. The garden also features a lovely barbecue area with benches – the perfect place to gather after a day by the lake and enjoy a meal together. There is plenty to discover around Malmköping and in the beautiful Sörmland countryside. Nature lovers can enjoy hiking and cycling in the surrounding landscape. The Sörmlandsleden long-distance hiking trail passes through Malmköping, offering both longer hikes and shorter walks through forests, open countryside and past beautiful lakes. For families with children, Sagostigen is a popular day trip. Follow the Fairytale Path through a charming rural setting, where traditional fairy tales come to life along the trail. There is also a playground, farm animals and a café serving homemade treats, light meals and ice cream. A visit to Malmköping itself is also highly recommended. The historic small town dates back to the 18th century and offers cafés, restaurants, small shops and interesting museums. One of the area's most unusual attractions is the Iron Museum, which houses a collection of more than 1,000 irons from around the world. The Malmköping Tramway Museum is another popular attraction.
