Play facilities for children are available.Kronach has the largest medieval fortress in Germany. The well-known Faust open-air festival takes place on the Rosenberg fortress. The famous painter Lucas Cranach was born in Kronach.But it is not only the cultural offerings that make the town so popular for leisure activities.
